A Touch of Class

I had this little doddle of Sydney in my sketchbook and I thought it would make a cool msn display picture or DA icon but then I decided to make into into a "Scene." I've been trying to get it to fit just right but I've given up. Does anyone know the proper dimensions that the scene image should be? Almost forgot to note that these colours were inspired by the picture Lee Tao made of Sydney a little while ago. I needed a bit of a crouch to help me play with the colours.

Stir-Fried Collab

I always love to get drawing of Sydney A.K.A. Stir-Fried from fellow artists. This one was drawn by my friend Michal Szczepanski. Since I was a little tired of working with my own artwork, O.o, I figure colouring this would be a refreshing break and I ended up learning a few things as well. One of those things was using cool colours for shadows if the light is warm. I don't think I really pushed that in this too much cause I'm a little shy when it comes to cool colours like green, but I'll defiantly work it more in my next picture.

Yoko music video

I just had to share this with you guys. I'm a big fan of Gurren Lagann and Gainax in general so when I came across this my head exploded. Yoko is one of the coolest female characters I've seen recently and they made a music video. Its really random but there are some cool moments and designs.

They say inspiration can come from anywhere and in this case it came from breakfast which I rarely indulge in. French Toast Crunch FTW!

B-day Card I quickly made for my brother's 29th. He's getting old :P

Spring Cleaning

I finally got off my butt and cleaned/organized me room. I also vanquished the epic pile of laundry I had controlling the corner of my territory. Once my room was clean I was inspired to do some art to celebrate. I was originally going to have her blowing away a dust bunny but then i got bored and was going to trash the picture until my roommate gave me this idea and the picture was saved. Thanks Paul xP

The Morning After
